In 1866, A Major cleric named Maulana syech Gauc Abdurrazak or more popular name was sayyid tohri originating from the arabian peninsula came to palembang.From palembang, the great scholars continue the journey and landed in the coastal Ampenan beach,Mataram. When it was in the area of maulana syech gaus abdurrazak convey advice – advice which is based on the teachings of islam. Docterine is highly trusted by the community,not only in Mataram ,but also on the island of Lombok . Besides mausoleum of sayyid tohri , There are also datuk laut mausoleum and orphan mausoleum which often visited by visitor from Lombok and also from outside of the area as amean to pray hopefully accepted by Allah SWT.

And in front of Makam Loang balok there is Taman Rekreasi Loang Balok ,and built in 2009 by the government of Mataram.
